KLOMPENHOUWER IS BACK TO VICTORY IN GANDIA PREDATOR GP
After a few missteps Therese Klompenhower is back to victory in a major women event. 
Her overall average was not one of her best but it was enough to reach the first place.
She won the final to 30 points with a decisive 1,500 performance against Gulsen Degener who couldn't score more than 15.
Earlier in the semifinal Therese had to overcome the strong resistance of her compatriot Karina Jetten in a tight match ended 30-27. In the other semifinal Degener defeated Charlotte Sørensen by 30-22.

2nd Gulsen Degener (TR)
3rd Charlotte Sørensen (DK) and Karina Jetten (NL)


No big changes in the top 8 of CEB Ladies ranking except for Degener who climbs to the 5th position and Klompenhouwer who secure her first place by adding some more points gap from Sørensen.
Klompenhouwer scored the best overall average (0,959) and the best match (1,500). Second best overall average, second best match and best run are Sørensen work (0,863 - 1,428 - 7).
The next stop in the Ladies circuit is the Predator GP in Wedel (Germany) by the end of August.

PREDATOR GP 3C LADIES: SEMIFINALS STAGE IS SET IN GANDIA
Yesterday the qualification groups started early in the morning until the evening. 
During the opening ceremony the children of a local school visited the tournament venue and had the opportunity to know and enjoy the billiard.

This morning the qualification rounds of the PREDATOR GP have been completed and the quarters final have been also played in the evening. After that the last 4 ladies advancing to the semifinals were finally known.
Therese Klompenhouwer was the the leader of the qualificaton rounds, runner up was Charlotte Sørensen and Magali Declunder was third.
Below all the group winners qualified to the KO stage:
Group A: Therese Klompenhouwer (NL)
Group B: Karina Jetten (NL)
Group C: Guzin Mujde Karakasli (TR)
Group D: Magali Declunder (FR)
Group E: Charlotte Sørensen (DK)
Group F: Gulsen Degener (TR)
The two best group runners up by match points and general average were also qualified to the KO stage:
Estela Cardoso (ES) from group F
Steffi Tram (D) from group E
After a short break the quarters final were played at the end of the day:
Klompenhouwer - Tram
Jetten - Karakasli
Declunder - Degener
Sørensen - Cardoso
Klompenhouwer and Sørensen quickly won their respective matches; Sørensen scored her 30 points in 21 innings (1,428), the best match so far.
The other two quarters were exciting neck and neck matches. At the end of the day Karina Jetten and Gulsen Degener won.

Semifinals are therefore ready and scheduled for tomorrow at 10.00 and 12.00, the final will follow at 16.00.

PREDATOR GP 3-CUSHION LADIES KICKS OFF IN GANDIA (SPAIN)

The 5th Predator Grand Prix 3-Cushion Ladies will take place tomorrow morning in the Hotel Gandia Palace in Gandia (Valencia, Spain). It is the first PREDATOR GP for the current sport season while the second is scheduled in Wedel (Germany) by the end of August 2025. Last time this GP was played in Herstal (Belgium) in August 2024 and the Dutch Karina Jetten took the first prize.
The event is organized by the Gandia Billar Club and the Federacion de Billar de la Comunidad Valenciana, under the auspices of the RFEB and the CEB.
24 of the best CEB 3-cushion women talents gathered to attend this event which awards points in the CEB 3-Cushion Ladies ranking. A parade of 3-cushion women champions will attend: the reigning European and World Champion Charlotte Soerensen from Denmark, the two members of the reigning National Teams champion Guzin Mujde Karakasli and Gulsen Degener (Turkiye), the former multiple World and European Champion Therese Klompenhouwer (Netherlands).
The qualification rounds will be played by 6 groups of 4, starting from tomorrow morning at 9.30 until Saturday 10th with last qualification round scheduled at 13.30. The group winners and two best seconds will advance to the quarters final that will take place on Saturday at 6pm.
Sunday will be dedicated to the semifinals (10.00 and 12.00) and the final (at 4pm).
All the games are played on Simonis cloths, with Aramith billiard balls.
Kozoom will broadcast the whole event free, in addition one table will be broadcasted on Kozoom YouTube channel.
