Two Europeans and two Koreans conquered the podium in Las Vegas World Cup. The reigning World Champion Tayfun Tasdemir took the highest step for the third time in his life beating the young Haeng Jik Kim in the final. Marco Zanetti and Jun Tae Kim shared the third place. The Italian young 5-Pins talent Federico Diciolla wins again in the 2nd Longoni Next Gen Grand Prix. Because of a withdraw for family reasons the participants played a single round robin group and a final match. Diciolla won all of his matches and met in the final with the runner up, the Danish Jonas Soendergaard, who only lost to Diciolla in the round robin group. The Longoni Next Gen project continues with the second Grand Prix in the discipline of 5-Pins. The project is promoted by CEB, Italian Federation (FISBB) and Longoni. The final day in the venue of the Royal Billiard in Cusago was exciting. Two Italians, 1 Danish and 1 Turkish made it to the semifinals. The first semifinal was between the Turkish Selahattin Ozkul and the Italian Luigi Aniello De Girolamo Del Mauro. The Dutchman did it again. Dick Jaspers won again the World 3-Cushion Grand Prix in Wonju, South-Corea, after 2 weeks of top level competition. He came back from the losers bracket of last 16 in the D-KO format because of a defeat in the first match against Polychronopoulos.
