12 Teams in Qualification Coupe d´Europe Classic Teams
02/23/2017
Twelve teams with classic specialists will play the qualification rounds for the Coupe d’Europe, of which the final will be played in Prague from 7th to 9th of April. Two French clubs and the German Bochum are hosting the European qualification rounds for club teams in the classic disciplines. The matches are played this weekend, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February on four locations. The Czech team of Vitkov Praga, last year’s winner of the European cup and automatically seeded for the final weekend, has strengthened its team with another world class player for the 2017 edition. Dick Jaspers from the Netherlands will replace Wolfgang Zenkner in the discipline one cushion. The other players are Eddy Leppens and Marek Faus for the balk-line games. Three groups of four teams will compete on the three locations this weekend: Bochum in Germany and Soissons and Chartres in France. The three group winners and two best second finishers will qualify for the final, together with the Czech champion team.
