THERESE KLOMPENHOUWER SECURES HER 7TH PREDATOR GRAND PRIX
Of the eight Predator Grand Prixs played since 2023, Therese Klompenhouwer won her seventh today with a fantastic performance in the final against Turkey's Guzin Mujde Karakasli, scoring 30 points in 14 innings with a closing 10-point run.
Therese is untouchable in the CEB rankings, which she leads with 280 points; Karakasli takes second place at 128 points thanks to this result.
Another Turkish athlete, Gulsen Degener, finished third, along with Belgian Jaimie Buelens.
Klompenhouwer's opponents also struggled in the semifinal, where the Dutchwoman defeated Degener 30-13 in 24 innings. Karakasli won a tough semifinal match against Buelens thanks to a solid comeback.

SEMIFINALS ARE SET IN THE PREDATOR GRAND PRIX
The second day in Herstal was decisive in determining the quarterfinals and then the four semifinalists.
The six group winners were Therese Klompenhuower in Group A and Karina Jetten in Group B, both Dutch; in Groups C and D, the two Turkish athletes, Gulsen Degener and Guzin Mujde Karakasli, prevailed. Group E finished with three athletes with four points: Steffi Tram for Germany, Ipek Koyuncuoglu for Turkey, and Irena Michalkova for Czechia; the German athlete won the group with the best average. Finally, in Group F, Monique Van Exter (Netherlands) and Jaimie Buelens both finished with five points, but Van Exter won with the best average. Buelens still advanced to the next round as the best runner-up, along with Nanna Petersen (Denmark), who finished second in Group D.
Klompenhouwer was the leader of the qualification ranking scoring the best average (0,892), the best match average (1,190) and the best run (8).
The quarterfinals were thus determined and played in the late afternoon:
Klompenhouwer - Petersen
Degener - Van Exter
Karakasli - Tram
Jetten - Buelens
The first three matches were clear victories by Klompehouwer, Degener and Karakasli who were never in real danger. The fourth match was quite uncertain until the final phase when Buelens could score the last points as first.
Tomorrow's semifinals are therefore ready; two Turkish, 1 Dutch and 1 Belgian will fight for the best position:
Klompenhouwer - Degener at 10 am
Karakasli - Buelens at 12 am

The first day in Herstal is over. Tomorrow last rounds of qualification groups will decide the best 8 players who will advance to the quarters final.

8th PREDATOR GRAND PRIX 3-CUSHION LADIES STARTING SOON IN HERSTAL, BELGIUM.
The final event of the current CEB season will be the eighth edition of the Predator Grand Prix 3-Cushion Ladies, hosted this time by the Billard Club Herstalien in Belgium, thanks to the support of Predator and our major sponsors.
The BC Herstalien is the organizer under the auspices of the CEB and the Royal Belgian Billiard Federation.
Everything is ready for the tournament, which will take place this weekend, from August 28th (Friday) to 30th (Sunday).
24 of the best women in the European 3-cushion scene are expected; among them, reigning European and World champion T.Klompenhouwer.
The format is the usual one, which will be used for the last time; starting next season, there will be significant changes.
The 24 competitors are divided into six groups of four, with eight advancing to the quarterfinals. The semifinals and final are scheduled for Sunday the 30th.
This competition counts for the CEB 3-Cushion Ladies Ranking; the ranking updated at the end of the tournament will be used to assign the top two in the ranking a wild card for participation in the European championships 3-Cushion individual of the next sporting season,
