ATHENS HOSTS A KEY DEVELOPMENT STEP FOR 5-PINS BILLIARDS

Today, April 4th, an official referees course is taking place in Athens (Greece) at the VS Café. A total of 14 referees are involved in a full-day session, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, dedicated to the in-depth study and analysis of all 5-pins rules.

Tomorrow, Sunday April 5th — Easter Day — the focus will shift to players. Seventeen participants will attend a technical and tactical training course, including four junior players, among them two promising young female athletes aged 15 and 16.

The entire event will be held under the auspices of the CEB Confederation Européenne de Billard, with the collaboration of the Hellenic Federation of Precision Sports, and led by international 5-pins instructor Luca Marzio Garavaglia.

This initiative represents an important step not only in education and development, but also in the international growth of the discipline. At the conclusion of the event, a new national flag will officially be added to the countries represented in 5-pins billiards across Europe and worldwide.
