1. EUROYOUTH LONGONI NEXTGEN 2026
First of all, we'd like to congratulate all the participants in the Euroyouth Longoni NextGen 2026, which recently concluded in Salamina, Greece, and especially all the young talents who took home a medal. Congratulations, you are the future of our sport!. At the same time CEB wants to congratulate with all the organizers staff, the referees, the volunteers and the sponsors for the excellent job done.

2. TRAINING CAMP LADIES IN WEDEL
As announced in May, the upcoming training camp for Ladies in the 3-Cushion discipline will take place at BC Wedel, with Martin Horn as head coach. Six of our best female players will attend the camp from 21st to 23rd August 2026.

4. RULES REVIEW FOR 2026/2027 SPORT SEASON
As it does every year, on August 31st, the CEB will publish the revised rules for all the various disciplines and tournaments.
We invite you to review all the new features, including the most important ones below:
3-Cushion Individual: 8 groups of 4 will be introduced for the main tournament, replacing the last 32 single-elimination round.
Artistic Individual and Grand Prix: a set-based system (best of 5 sets) will be introduced for all matches previously played over distances. Furthermore, the draw system of the figures has been improved. These new regulations were developed in collaboration with an artistic billiards working group, composed mainly of players, with the aim of promoting, improving and finding new ways to increase public interest in this spectacular discipline.
The 'Organization Rules' will be reorganized into a single document, which we encourage everyone, especially organizers, to carefully review.
Classical disciplines: 24 participants will be permitted under specific conditions.
5-Pins National Teams: 16 teams will be permitted under specific conditions.
Ladies 3-Cushion Grand Prix: the game format will be modified; two players from each group will qualify for the single-elimination round.
The new rules will always be published on the info pages of each tournament, we invite you to read them.

6. PERMISSION TO PLAY
We remind that the deadline for the ‘Permission to play’, required to play the Coupe d’Europe Club Teams (3-Cushion, 5-Pins, Classic) in foreign club teams, is August 31st, 2026, for the sport season 26/27.
