1. CHANGE OF DATE FOR EUROYOUTH 2026 LONGONI NEXTGEN
To optimize the international calendar, the Euroyouth 2026 has been moved to August 5–9, 2026, in Greece. As already informed the deadline for registrations will be anticipated to mid May to facilitate the flights booking at a cheaper price.
2. COMING UP COMPETITION
Be ready for the next CEB competition: the Longoni NextGen Grand Prix 3-Cushion U21 in Bergisch Gladbach (Germany), scheduled in few days: October 24th to 25th. Everything is ready in the Bergisch Gladbacher Billard-Club 1926 e.V. for the beginning of a new season of the Longoni NextGen ranking for the young CEB talents.
Like in the former seasons three wild cards will be awarded to the best 3 players at the end of the current season. Ranking points in the NextGen ranking will be awarded for the participation to this Grand Prix, to the second Grand Prix (Athens, May 2026, 1st-3rd) and finally to the European Championship 3-Cushion U21 in Greece (August 2026, 5th to 9th). 3. REFEREES CERTIFICATE IN PORTO (PORTUGAL)
The second CEB Referees Certificate took place in Porto in September, organized by the Portuguese Billiards Federation, at the Academia de Bilhar FC Porto, located at the Estádio do Dragão.
Seven participants registered by the FPB attended this training course which lasted two days: 19th and 20th of September. The course included theory in the morning and practice in the afternoon. On Saturday 20th the theory exam took place in the morning and the practice exam in the afternoon.
The participating candidates referees that passed the final evaluation will be appointed by the CEB Board as provisional CEB referees until in the next CEB General Assembly they will be proposed for the definitive appointment as CEB Referees.
4. CEB RANKINGS
As the opening of registrations for the All-In-One is approaching CEB kindly reminds to all National Federations to promptly update their rankings on CEB website for all the disciplines concerned, and to promptly send their 3-Cushion National Ranking to CEB/UMB in case these events will take place before the opening of registrations. This must be done no later than 3 days before the opening of the registrations to the All-In-One.
5. CREATION OF THE NEW CEB 5-PINS WORKING GROUP
This group was created to facilitate brainstorming and exchange of ideas about 5-pins billiard activities across Europe. The goals are to:
- Share ideas, exchange experiences, and support requirements from different federations
- Discuss and develop initiatives for promoting 5-pins, especially for youth and women
- Find organiser and support organisation of future CEB events
