A 100% European final which is more than 100% Belgian for this 70th World Championship 3-Cushion individual. For the third consecutive year, a European won the title of the top 3-Cushion. Eddy MERCKX take second place, Minh Cam MA and Marco ZANETTI win the bonze medal.
