THE CEB NEW SEASON STARTS WITH THE ARTISTIC GRAND PRIX IN GERASDORF BEI WIEN, AUSTRIA
The new CEB sport season kicks off on September 4th in the Kenny's Snooker Center (Gerasdorf bei Wien, Austria) with the first Artistic Billiard Grand Prix for the sport season 2025-2026, organized by the club and the Austrian Billiards Federation - BSVÖ.
34 specialists of this spectacular discipline will show up for a four day tournament which assigns points in the CEB Artistic Ranking. 8 countries are represented, the European Champion Thomas Ahrens (Germany) and the number 1 in the CEB ranking Haci Arap Yaman from Turkiye are among the participants.
The tournament will start on Thursday with the qualification stage until Friday. During this stage all players will play 56 figures. The best 16 who will score the highest number of points will advance to the direct elimination stage: last 16 and quarters final will be played on Saturday. The semifinals and the final are planned for Sunday.
The event is played on Simonis cloths with Aramith billiard balls.
