SIX NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS ARE BORN IN THE LONGONI'S EUROYOUTH
Today six new European Champions have been crowned in the Euroyouth Longoni NextGen, in Salamina, Greece.

Let's start from 5-Pins U21 and the one who is keeping his title from 4 years and now got it for the fifth time in a row: Emanuel Cucchiara (Italy) who is also the reigning World Champion.
He won the final against another Italian, Corrado Falbo, silver medal, confirming for one more time the Italian supremacy in this discipline. Bronze medals were awarded to Leon Enge (Germany) and Magnus Petersen (Denmark).

The next one to celebrate is Seymen Ozbas (Turkiye), a second time winner of the U21 3-Cushion gold medal. Statistics says it all: his overall average (1,292) is the best of the tournament. The silver medalist, Amir Ibraimov (Germany) is also a second time silver medal; both played the same final in 2024 with the same outcome. Bronze medals were awarded to two Spaniards, Marcos Morales and Bruno Martinez. Ibraimov and Morales recorded the best match (1,666) while Ibraimov score the best run (10).

The podium of the 3-Cushion U17 is 50% Dutch: Dutch Jayden van Buren took home his first CEB medal and it's a gold one. Silver medal was awarded to Mio Svensson (Sweden), it's his second silver medal in a row in this category. Bronze medals were awarded to Lorenzo Fiore (Italy) and Joeri Wilkowski, also from The Netherlands.

The European Championship 3-Cushion U21 for National Teams was played for the first time in Salamina and it was an exciting one; the final was a razor-edge match finished with an earth-breaking 30-29. The Spanish team of Marcos Morales and Toni Garcia got the gold. Turkish teams took home the silver medal with Ataberk Cerkez and Kayra Sulun, and a bronze medal with Seymen Ozbas and Kivanc Yildirim. The other bronze medals was for Germany with Amir Ibraimov and Jacob Ide.

Also the 5-Pins U21 Girls was a first time ever, we appreciated the willingness of many young girls to enter the world of billiard competition as a key to attract many more young talents. Anna Pechmanova (Czechia) took the first gold medal after a set by set battle against Alba Wollerup (Spain) who finally setttled for a silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Sigrid Dahlberg (Denmark) and Emilie Druez (France).

Finally the Biathlon U21 for National Teams, a modality of game that includes two of our more important disciplines in a single match. Germany (Amir Ibraimov and Leon Enge) got this title back after taking it two years ago. Silver medal went to France (Tangui Duriez and Ronan Delorme),  a team that was often on the Biathlon's podium. One bronze went to Italy (Mirko Russino and Christain Russo), also used to be on this podium. And last bronze went to Spain (Marcos Morales and Toni Garcia), the defending Champions.

We hope to see many future's Champions among all these young talent that competed over 6 days with fairness and committment, challenging each other with great sportmanship, they are our Ambassadors.
CEB thanks all the organizing and technical staff, the Municipality, the Hellenic Federation of Precision Sports, all the referees and volunteers, and of course all the Sponsors, for the big effort and the perfect job.

The CEB most important event of the year for our young talents in the 3-cushion and 5-pins billiard disciplines will take place next week in Salamina, Greece.
