CHARLOTTE KOEFOED (DENMARK) IS THE NEW QUEEN OF 5-PINS
Today in Kladno Charlotte Koefoed from Denmark was crowned as new European Champion 5-Pins after a flawless tournament where she only lost one single set in the final against the Italian Milena Romano who takes home a silver medal at her first European championship. After two edition the Italian supremacy was broken by the Dane athlete who is not new to the podium; she was third in 2023 and Vice Champion in 2024. The defending champion Daniela Romiti had to settle for a bronze medal together with another experienced Danish, Marianne Mortensen, who completed an all Danish - Italian podium.
In the semifinals the two Danes had to fight each other, as well as the two Italians.
Earlier in the quarters final Koefoed eliminated the Austrian Petra Scholtze while Marianne Mortensen sent home the Italian Lucia Biondolillo.
Milena Romano beat the German Katja Titze and Daniela Romiti eliminated the only Czech who survived till the last 8, Anna Pechmanova.
Gold medal: Charlotte Koefoed (Denmark)

THE 5-PINS LADIES IN KLADNO ADVANCE TO QUARTERS FINAL
The European Championship 5-Pins Ladies tournament reached its KO stage.
The qualifications stage showed few surprises. All the three Italians won their respective group: Daniela Romiti, Milana Romano and Lucia Biondolillo, the Dane Charlotte Koefoed won the remaining group. The runners up also advanced to next round: Anna Pechmanova (CZ), Katja Titze (DE), Petra Scholtze (AT) and Marianne Mortensen (DK).
The quarters final bracket was therefore determined:
Koefoed - Scholtze
Biondolillo - Mortensen
Romano - Titze
Romiti - Pechmanova

THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 5-PINS LADIES HAS BEGUN IN KLADNO
Today the EC 5-Pins Ladies begun in Kladno with a record in terms of participants and representation: 12 female athletes from 6 CEB federations. The Italian Daniela Romiti is the defending champion, she won all the previous editions in 2023 and 2024 and is hunting for the third gold medal in a row.
The format has been adapted to allow the participation of 12 athletes: it will start with 4 qualification group of 3. Best two from each group will advance to quarters final, semifinals and final. Group third will play a ranking match to determine 9th to 12th places. The finals is scheduled on Saturday 23rd at 6PM.
