LONGONI NEXTGEN IN BLOIS: MUSTAFA CEYLAN WINS THE GP, DANIEL SAINZ-PARDO WINS THE LONGONI RANKING U21 24/25
Today, in the Académie Blésoise de Billard in Blois (France), the final episode of the Longoni NextGen circuit U21 2024/2025 was played with excellent performances,
Mustafa Ceylan from Turkiye won this last GP with a victory over Daniel Kristiansen (Denmark) in the final game.
Third placed: Joris Van't Zelfden (Netherlands) and Selahattin Ozkul (Turkiye).
Amir Ibraimov (DE), placed fifth, scored the best overall average (1,182) and the best run (13).
The overall ranking of the Longoni season 2024/2025 was therefore completed with the 3 events: the European Championship U21 and 2 Grand Prix, Halle Zoersel and Blois. At the end of the day the Spanish Daniel Sainz-Pardo, winner of the European Championship, placed only 8th in this GP but that was enough to keep the first position in the general ranking. Another Spanish, Marcos Morales, placed sixth and this was also enough  to stay in the top three. Thank to this victory Mustafa Ceylan jumped in the second place. To all of them a CEB wild card will be awarded for the participation to the next European Championship Individual 25/26 in Antalya. Congratulations!

LONGONI NEXTGEN: THE EIGHT FINALISTS ARE DECIDED IN BLOIS
The qualification rounds reached the finish line today thus determining the eight young talents advancing to the quarters final.
The overall level of skill was considerably high compared to past events, the boys are getting stronger.
All the groups winners were decided in the last match were the first two had to fight for the first place.
In group A the Dane Daniel Kristiansen was behind but he succeeded to clinch the first place in the last deciding match against the runner up Marcos Morales from Spain.
In group B Sainz-Pardo (Spain) and Selahattin Ozkul (Turkiye) arrived neck by neck to the last match and Ozkul won the last.
In group C too Tangui Duriez (France) and Joris Van't Zelfden (Netherlands) arrived together at the last match and Joris won.
In group D we had again the same scenario: Mustafa Ceylan (Turkiye) beat Amir Ibraimov (Germany) to win this group.
The leader of the qualification ranking was Daniel Kristiansen with the best average so far: 1,123. Best runs of 13 by Amir Ibraimov and 10 by Mustafa Ceylan and Luca Philipoom.

It promises to be an exciting competition since all of them have still a chance to reach the first three position in the Longoni Ranking and be awarded with a wild card for the next European Championship 3-Cushion Individual.

FIRST FIREWORKS IN THE LONGONI NEXTGEN GRAND PRIX IN BLOIS
As the qualifications rounds are rolling in Blois the group rankings begin to take a shape.
Meanwhile some impressive high runs and good averages were performed in the first day:
Amir Ibraimov (DE): 13 points
Luca Philipoom (NL) and Mustafa Ceylan (TR): 10 points
The German boy is leading the provisional ranking so far (1,190). Runner up is the French Tangui Duriez (1,136). Third is Daniel Sainz-Pardo (ES) and fourth Luca Philipoom (NL); all of them are leading their respective group.
Qualification rounds will continue today and only the best two from each group will advance to next round. Quarters final are on the schedule for Sunday.

THE LAST EPISODE OF THE LONGONI 24/25 TOUR IS READY IN BLOIS
The best 3-cushion juniors players are gathering in Blois, France, to participate to the last event of the Longoni tour for this sport season.
The venue is in Blois, France, organized by the Académie Blèsoise de Billard and the French Billiards Federations.
21 athletes representing 10 countries are divided in four groups of 5 and 6. The best two from each group will advance to the quarters final.
This event assigns the last available points in the Longoni NextGen Ranking 24/25. The top three players after this tournament will be awarded with a wild card for the next European Championship 3-Cushion Individual. Daniel Sainz-Pardo (Spain) is leading the ranking with 79 points, thank to his gold medal in the latest EC U21; another Spanish, Marcos Morales is chasing behind with 60 points. The competitions will be very harsh for the third place with Mustafa Ceylan (Turkiye), Joris Van't Zelfden (Netherlands) and Tangui Duriez (France) respectively at 41, 39 and 39 points.
The tournament is played on Simonis cloth with Aramith billiard balls.
