ANDREA RAGONESI WINS THE 9TH SWISS OPEN
Today the reigning World Champion, the Italian Andrea Ragonesi, won the 9th Swiss Open 5-Pins in the BC Lion King in Zofingen (CH).
He defeated the runner up Ulisse Calzi (CH) in the final match. Third place for Giuseppe Buttino (IT) and Michel Peters (DE).

THE SWISS OPEN 5-PINS REACHES THE 9TH EDITION
This weekend, from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th, the 9th edition of the Swiss Open 5-Pins will take place in the BC Lion King in Zofingen, under the auspices of the CEB and the Swiss Billiard Federation.
This event has became an important yearly meeting for the 5-Pins players from all over Europe. Many National Federations are represented in Zofingen: Switzerland of course and then Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium and Luxemburg, for an impressive total of 72 players, included two women. The reigning 5-Pins World Champion, the Italian Andrea Ragonesi, is among the participants.

The tournament is played on Simonis cloths with Aramith billiard balls.
