
ALL-EUROPEAN PODIUM IN ANKARA: RENE DERICKS (NL) TAKES THE ARTISTIC WORLD GOLD
The big show of the 33th World Championship Artistic just ended in Ankara with very nice results for CEB representatives: two Belgian, one French and one Dutch reached the semifinals.
The Dutch Rene Dericks took the world gold medal in a tight final against Erik Vervliet from Belgium who gets the silver medal. Third place and bronze medals for Michael Hammen (France) and Steve Wilms (Belgium).

THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ARTISTIC IS UNDERWAY IN ANKARA
The Turkish Billiards Federation headquarter is once again the stage of a top level world competition, this time in the amazing discipline of the artistic billiard. The defending champion is the Turkish Haci Arap Yaman playing in front of his supporters. The CEB champion Thomas Ahrens is also in the players list together with the best players from all over the world. 32 players from 12 countries and 3 continents (Europe, Asia and South America) are divided into 8 groups of 4, the best two will advance to the KO stage.
