Coupe d'Europe Classic Teams

OPENING CEREMONY: Gothic Hall of Douai City Hall (Rue Francis GODIN)

April 15th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. 

600 m / 7 min from hôtel Ibis Centre or from competition venue.

The training session will take place before the opening ceremony, a detailed scheduled will be published after the inscription deadline.

It's allowed to play only with dress code B.

Tournament Rules

Strict application of the CEB Rules:

In case that it seems that the athlete needs a longer time of reflection for a position or that the athlete for any other reason is delaying the game, the referee can grant the athlete from his own initiative an appointed period of 15 seconds for the carrying out of the stroke, consequently, the referee must indicate to the athlete “quinze secondes “. In case that the athlete has not played during this set period, the opponent comes to the game (announcement “pas joué”) and the balls remain in their position, or the opponent can demand the putting up of the balls for the initial ball.

By National Federations.

The teams are consisting of 3 players + at least 1 mandatory reserve player, once the registrations are closed no new players will be allowed.

Participating teams: 7 + Title Holder.

Each federation affiliated to the CEB regularly organizing a national championship for Club Teams will be able to register maximum two teams of clubs which it has any freedom to indicate.

Each federation affiliated to the CEB not organizing national championship for Club Teams will be able to register maximum two national teams which it has any freedom to compose.

Only the first team registered by each federation has the right to play (the title holder is not considered here).

Consideration of registrations: 1- Title Holder.

2- First team of the organizer federation.

3- Other teams registered as first by all other federations not already registered under point 2.

4- Second team registered for each federation according to nations results of last Coupe d'Europe Classics Teams, each nation is taken only once for the best standing. Federations that did not participate to the previous edition will be last in this priority list.

5- The organizer federation can register a third team (included the Title Holder team) on the sole condition that the 8 places are not fulfilled.

The CEB will accept 9 or 10 registrations if 8 or 9 federations will present at least one team (the title holder is not counted).

3 Groups of 3, playing double rounds (total of 18 matches in qualifications groups, Thursday to Saturday).

Group winners and the best second will be qualified to the semifinals.

Qualification groups: 100-150-200

Semifinals and final: 120-200-250

Travel, stay and meals will be taken care of by the participating teams. The organizer will only take charge of 3 double rooms for Sunday evening for each of the 4 medal teams as well as the meals of the players who will participate on Sunday. Teams not classified for the semi-finals may return Sunday morning.
